SAR High School Broadcasting

About The Club

The SAR High School Broadcasting Club started in the fall of 2015 and is now one of the most popular clubs at SAR! Students in the club have the option to be involved with the following:  Announcer, Camera Operator, Interviewer, Video Recording, Video Editing, and learning how to use our livestreaming software. Students also helped to create and continue to maintain this website!

Students are also involved in livestreaming and recording school events such as Kochav Nolad, school plays, and The Night of Art and Music.

Club members are involved in many aspects of the live broadcast. Students are announcers for the game itself, conduct sideline reporting, operate the video cameras as well as help with livestreaming software during a broadcast. Many students also conduct pre-game interviews which are played during the live broadcast. Student also create different graphics and "lower thirds" that are displayed during the broadcast.

Our club broadcasts many different school sporting events including: Both boys & girls  JV & Varsity Basketball, Hockey, Volleyball, Soccer, and boys Wrestling matches. The club also broadcasts outdoor sports including Baseball, Softball and Tennis.

Students also help keep Sting Nation updated with live tweeting game scores and in-game updates via the Sting Report on Instagram and Twitter.

All indoor games are currently livestreamed to the SAR High School Youtube Channel

Outdoor sports are currently livestreamed to our Facebook Page
